⚠️ Warning to Parents and the Community – THC/Spice Vapes ⚠️

It has come to our attention over the past few weeks that some young people across West Craven are using Vapes, which have been bought in illegitimate circumstances.

Whilst we have been conducting enquiries into this, one of these Vapes has been seized and tested. The results confirmed that it contained Spice, a highly dangerous and addictive synthetic drug.

We are extremely concerned about the impact this is having on young people, with Spice known to cause unpredictable and harmful changes in behaviour, as well as posing significant risks to both physical and mental health.

We know that this will be a cause for concern amongst parents and youths alike. We have now made an arrest in relation to this and our investigation in ongoing.

We would encourage parents and carers to speak with their children about the dangers of using illicit vapes or Vape Oils and to remain vigilant for any changes in behaviour or unusual vaping devices.
